The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Warriors Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a diverse cast of characters, and a thrilling plot showcasing celestial beings, demons, and dark forces expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Spoilers for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and revealed the first table of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to undertake their own adventure, distinct from the additional parties.

This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Given a large ensemble, it was obvious from the start that having everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, weaving together the individual narratives before splitting into three distinct groups: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

Per the DM, the combat-focused party is for participants who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.

At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might appear mismatched, but the events of the latest installment show why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party knows exactly where to head next after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated the enemy for his personal gain, entering Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the enchanted items to auction.

The traitor then settled his debts and fled to a fortified location in the northern region, north of the city, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each character has a individual motive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks vengeance.
  • The adventurer knows the region and warns that it is a hostile place.
  • The warrior and The healer, having defied his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their position as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the group access areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now follow him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that rule Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the family.

This means them little choice but to head to the remote area in pursuit of the antagonist.

Future Episodes

From episode three’s follow-up content, we learn that the combat party will not appear next week, leaving the other eight participants to form the Seekers and Planners groups.

Audiences can expect learning which adventurers will be where in the story’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on next week.
